Agricultural Economics

Students of the Bs study Agricultural Economics during six semesters gather professional knowledge from the fields of agriculture, economy, sociology, and basics of biotechnology. Depending on the selection of elective modules,  students are qualified for employment or for further studying. Professional project and obligate practical work of at least two months serve for attaining comprehensive knowledge on agribusiness and rural development, and help to develop team and individual work and business communications.

Accomplished professional and methodical knowledge provides a wide employment possibilities in following areas: agricultural production, distribution and services, extension and education, agricultural and rural policy, represenatition of interests, sustainable development. A student with finished program can work as a manager or supervisor of the farm production, family farm manager, administrator in local administration offices in the field of agriculture and rural sector, technician assistant in research institutions and trade business assistant.
