Horticulture

   

The undergraduate study of Horticulture is adjusted by its structure to other studies in the field of biotechnological science (the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Food Technology and Biochemistry of the University in Zagreb), as well as related studies inland and abroad. A high degree of elective modules (60 ETCS credits), and a possibility of studying in duration of one semester outside of the Faculty of Agriculture (inland or abroad) have been considered.

The study programme anticipates the introduction of a professional project weighted at 6 credits. This is an innovative programme focusing on problem-based learning that trains students in teamwork and business communications and offers two months of practical work.

This study programme prepare students for job in all fields of horticulture - grape-growing and wine-production, fruit-growing, vegetable crop production and ornamental plants productio.
