The new issue of JCEA covers again a wide area of agricultural sciences. Six papers focus on pests and weevil control by Romanian authors. These include two papers on aspects of chemical control of bean weevil and Colorado bug, one concerning the control of coleopteres by not-chemical methods, one focuses on actual stage of knowledge about damages bruchides, and two studies concern bark pests dynamics and Lymantria monacha L. species monitoring, respectively. One paper by Hungarian author concerns economics, and point features of simple method for defining credit limits of enterprises. Another paper, by a Turkish author, discusses some important proprieties and classification of mollisols in northwestern Turkey. A Bulgarian author also discusses an interesting problem in agricultural chemistry about effects of excess Cu on growth and photosynthesis of barley plants. Another paper by Romanian author points the importance of water consumption of tomatoes, green pepper and cucumbers cultivated in solariums. The study of Meligethes species in Keszthely was also approached in this issue of our Journal by a Hungarian author. The present issue is rich in content and has contributions from four countries, including Bulgarian, Hungarian, Romanian and Turkish authors. This comes to confirm that the journal already became a well accepted tool of scientific communication in the Central and Eastern European region. The Editors
