EDITORIAL
Dear readers and colleagues,
you just have opened the first issue of the JCEA´s 5th volume. In the year 2004 the JCEA enteres the next phase of it´s development. In an effort to achieve placing our scientific internet journal among the impacted journals the quality of published papers is being continually increased.
The editorial board of the Czech Republic which works at the University of South Bohemia, Faculty of Agriculture in České Budějovice, will strive to work on the loads which have been entered by the editorial boards of Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania This professional work has brought the journal to a very good present standard.
This year is characteristic of an important expansion of EU. We hope, that in this period we will be able to maintain both the high quality and scientific standart of the journal. The main work in this area still rests on particular national editorial boards. We would like to thank all of them for an excellent cooperation.
Of course, our thanks belong to the most important people – to the authors of the papers, who keep sending very well-processed and for reviewing prepared papers. This year the whole reviewing procedure is more complicated and time-consuming, because each paper is published only after positive references of two reviewers from two JCEA member states.
That´s why we would like to apologise to the authors because some reviews are not processed immediately and the decision to accept the paper for publishing or not can take several weeks.We believe, that we will manage to cut short this period in cooperation with the reviewers.
We wish all the authors a lot of creative ability and all the readers to find new and interesting information on JCEA´s pages in this year.
