In 2005 Bulgarian Board has the pleasure of editing Volume 6 of JCEA. We hope we would be able to perform our duties as well as our colleagues did in the previous years and to keep the high quality of JCEA. Since the beginning of this year, the members of the Board from Agricultural University in Plovdiv are performing the function of the main editorial board.The members of Bulgarian Board received a lot of papers not only from the member countries, but also from scientific institutions of some European, African and Asian countries.
Reviewing of each article by two reviewers from two JCEA member states increases the scientific level of published papers. According to reviewers’ suggestions a number of papers were sent back to the authors for corrections. Some papers were rejected according to the reviewers’ opinions. But we consider this decision is positive with reference to continually raising the scientific level of the articles.
15 publications are included in the issue. Along with the traditional European countries publishing in the Journal, we have a paper from Nigeria and a paper from Pakistan. It is a confirmation of the raising interest, good quality of the scientific papers and broader dissemination of the Journal.
In future we hope that the reviews will be prepared in the required period.
We wish all the readers a lot of interesting information and all the authors a lot of success in scientific work and in publishing their results.
